Every plant has a story worth keeping.
Why it exists
MyGrowthStories began as a personal project by a plant collector who wanted to keep more than a list of species. A specimen carries a history: where it came from, how it was grown, and the changes it goes through over time.
Labels fade, notebooks fill up, and photographs end up scattered across devices. The goal is to keep those details together in a lasting record for each plant.
Made for collectors
Record dated photos, observations, measurements, field numbers, locality and acquisition details, propagation, and lineage. Whether your collection is small or extensive, each specimen can have its own growing timeline.
Your records can remain private. Sharing an individual specimen or a public collector profile is optional. Public collections can also be explored in the Archive and Hub.
An independent project
MyGrowthStories is independently developed in Sweden, and is still growing through feedback from people who keep plant collections. It is free to use at the moment.
